Keeping the cutting action of the hardened steel alloy blades off the ground enables the Timber Ax to take on dense brush and trees in one pass with less horsepower…even trees as large as 10 inches in diameter. This design also reduces the amount of blade contact with the ground to increase blade life.

A unique combination of features allows the Timber Ax to slice through vegetation faster than many other mulching heads available.

The 17-inch-diameter Timber Ax rotor turns upward, unlike most mulching heads, to keep the cutting action away from the ground. This helps maintain rotor energy and reduce knife wear, while processing brush, branches and trees into a consistent particle size.

The Timber Ax rotor has two rows of ultra-sharp hardened steel knives. The rigid, pocket-style knife mounts help make it easy to sharpen the blades on the machine. They can also be easily replaced if damaged.

An adjustable shear bar allows operators to adjust the particle sizes created.
